Meet Julia Hatfield — a Texas-born singer-songwriter who is forging her own retro sound in modern Americana music.

With four top fifty singles to Texas Red Dirt Radio, more than 100 acoustic performances per year, and six years of solo performances under her belt, this is one twenty-one year old you want to get to know.

Recently awarded 2018’s “New Female Vocalist of the Year” at the Texas Regional Radio Music Awards, Julia has already made quite the statement in the music industry. A semi-finalist at the International Songwriting Competition at only fourteen, her talent was evident early on. Beginning piano at age six as well as writing songs and playing guitar at thirteen, her musical accomplishments have continued to show she is truly a jack of all trades. Inspired by greats like Dolly Parton, Julia has created a dynamic sound that shines through in her performances and music — entertaining fans from California to Tennessee, and of course, in the great state of Texas.

Her personality is a big as her legendary family — the Hatfields, as in the ones that the McCoys weren’t particularly fond of. When you meet Julia, you’ll quickly come to know her love for her craft, but that is only second to her love for people. She’s an old soul with a youthful spirit, and her ability to connect with an audience is undeniable. Between her retro vibe and one of a kind talent, Julia isn’t just an artist to watch out for — she’s one to be rooting for.
